– Groups –

God never intended for us to go through life alone. Throughout the Bible, we see the importance of being in community. In fact, authentic life-change happens in the context of relationships.

At Greenville Community Church we believe our church must grow larger and smaller at the same time. This happens when everyone plugs into a community group.

A community group includes the following:

  1. Bible study – Studying God’s word with others gives the opportunity to hear another’s perspective as we learn and grow together.
  2. Fellowship – Having a group of people who really know me and my story.
  3. Prayer – A group of people who will pray for one another.
  4. Support – Knowing you have a network of people who have your back.

Here are our GCC group options for Fall 2020…

This fall starting in September we are going to take a 7-week journey through an online group experience through Psalm 23. Yes, 1 week to hear the other group members’ story and 6 weeks of focus on this short Psalm. This is a study guided by teaching from Matt Chandler through Right Now Media and we are connecting through zoom or google meet groups once during the week to process what we have discovered. We are personally connecting people to groups so reach out by email if you want help joining. If you are at GCC you will get a personal invite soon! Here is a video to help you know what to expect in this journey!

We also offer a Financial Peace University group each semester! You can learn more HERE.
